I just had a blow pop for the first time in a long time and forgot that there was gum inside of it. I chewed it up and swallowed it with the rest of the lolipop...that kinda sucked.

Twistedsol and I are headed to Atlanta today for his brother's bachelor party. We kicked things off by going out for thumbelina's birthday at the melting pot...woohoo!
Thanks Kelstar for letting me borrow the patriot
The site is in zeuss's hands this weekend. Have fun everyone!
I just watched this very long video on the IPhone:

While some of the features are not something I would use, I found the visual voicemail to be the most practical. It's such a simple idea but really makes things easier for people who get a lot of voicemail.
However, I will say that the touch screen may be difficult to use. I'd say i use my phone more while on the road than anything else. All those finger sliding moves may be hard to pull off while behind the wheel. Has anyone used one of these yet? Did you find the user interface intuitive?

Gyros

Anyone know if Gyros are good for you? I find myself eating one a week and wonder if its good for me to be snacking on so much lamb meat.
Went to lunch with twistedsol today. Has everyone ever noticed that mexican restaurants can sum up their entire menu with like 6 ingredients? I ordered a tostada today and a chimichanga last week and could'nt tell the difference between the two except for the shell. If it werent for Z, I wouldnt have noticed that the tostada didnt have beans but the chimichanga did.
Maybe the menus should just list the ingredients, let you build your own dish and charge per ingredient used vs. having 4 pages of variations.
As usual, Microsoft wants an even bigger piece of the pie...
So far, it's hard to deny Nintendo's new focus on mainstream, casual gaming has been astoundingly successful. Wii's rush into second place and steady march towards first is both a surprise and potential lesson to the other console manufacturers. Those worried about Wii causing a landslide towards mainstream appeal over the hardcore-centric games we're used to, take note: Microsoft wants to pursue casual gaming, too.
In an interview with MCV, Microsoft's regional VP of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) home and entertainment division, Chris Lewis, said, "Our drive is to appeal to a wider genre with more casual types of gaming." Lewis also states that Microsoft wants to bring more peripheral-based gaming to the system, such as the popular Guitar Hero 2.
Lewis was generally kind to Nintendo, saying that he feels Microsoft "co-exists with Nintendo very well," but, nevertheless, they naturally desire to expand the 360 into Nintendo's territory. How will they seek to do just that? Lewis says to expect more news at E3 in a couple of weeks.
Currently, the closest thing Microsoft has to a casual gaming effort is Xbox Live Arcade, where hardcore efforts like the recent Prince of Persia remake sit side-by-side with casual hits such as Soltrio Solitaire and PopCap's Bejeweled 2. Let's just hope an increased focus on the casual crowd from Microsoft doesn't mean more mini-game collections.
